H Roberts & Son Ltd are BAFE SP101/ST104 accredited for the selection, installation, commissioning and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. BAFE is the independent, third party registration organization for the fire protection industry and has been providing services for more than 25 years. BAFE has been at the forefront in developing UKAS accredited certification schemes for bodies and organizations to assess and approve companies to recognised high UK standards. BAFE also provides independent examination services to all leading training organisations for the portable fire extinguisher initial training requirements of BS5306-3.
The BAFE Council decides on policy and strategy and includes representation from the principle fire Trade Associations, Certification bodies, Government agencies, the Chief Fire officers Association and other representatives of the industry. This ensures that their clients get the benefit of knowing that they are dealing with competent suppliers. BAFE is an independent, ‘not for profit’ organisation and their registered companies include manufacturers, installers and maintainers of fire protection products – including the major international companies to small local businesses – with one thing in common: they have all invested in quality sytems and training to achieve their third party certification and BAFE registration.
BAFE is the British Inspectorate body that insures that the work of its registered fire protection contractors is carried out to extremely high British standards. BAFE is the government supported, non-profit organisation dedicated to improving standards in Fire Protection so our clients can rest assured their systems are installed and maintained to the highest possible standard and insurance requirements are always met
